Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Substances
- one/four cup rice vinegar
- two tablespoons lime juice
- two tablespoons decreased-unwanted fat mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lowered-excess fat creamy peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- one tablespoon lowered-sodium soy sauce
- two teaspoons minced fresh gingerroot
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- one teaspoon Thai chili sauce
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 1/2 cup minced fresh cilantro
- CHICKEN SALAD:
- two cups cubed cooked chicken breast
- 1 little sweet red pepper, diced
- one/two cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot
- 1/2 cup unsalted dry roasted peanuts, chopped, div > See Recipe
Directions
- In a blender, mix the very first ten ingredients. Although processing, gradually add oil in a steady stream stir in cilantro. Set aside.
- In a massive bowl, mix the chicken, red pepper, onions, carrot and one/four cup peanuts. Add dressing and toss to coat. Divide amongst lettuce leaves sprinkle with remaining peanuts. Fold lettuce more than filling.

All of my family, such as our two picky eaters, really liked this meal! I served the peanut sauce on the side in situation the kids did not liked it . One kid loved this sauce and the other preferred the Cheesecake Factory peanut sauce that I also made, just in case. This is a nice healthier meal, it also presents actually nice and would be good for visitors. Thank you for the recipe!
We really enjoyed this dish, and the leftovers reheated superbly for a healthful lunch. I will admit that I employed PB2 in location of the reduced body fat peanut butter, and additional it straight to the mayo. It wasn’t quite as smooth as I think it would have been with the reduced unwanted fat edition, but it did have a far better peanut taste. Will undoubtedly make this yet again
Healthier and tasty - a wonderful blend! You can substitute peanut sauce for the peanut butter.The Bibb lettuce performs properly as a wrap. Great luncheon dish!
I made mine using a pound of lean ground chicken, which I seasoned lightly with salt and pepper. Following entirely cooked, I tossed in the bell pepper and carrots and briefly sauteed them. I then extra the sauce at the finish (employing Organic PB in spot of the lowered fat and two tsp of Jalapeno Olive Oil in lieu of the canola oil) and served the dish warm. YUMMO! Definitely including this to the rotation!
Utilised standard Hellmann's and normal peanut butter (what we had on hand) and omitted red pepper. Entire family loved it!
Outstanding. In AZ I like some thing that isn't going to have to be hot for dinner. This is an exceptional blend of flavors. Do not more than do it on the dressing. Conserve some for another batch of wraps later on.
This was incredible. I manufactured this to attempt with the intention of incorporating this to our checklist of summer time meals. Way far better than PF Chang's. My son completely loved it, but he is not a picky eater and likes to consider new things.
Actually refreshing on a hot evening. I replaced the chopped red pepper with one cup cooked and cooled edamame.
Quite quite great! An remarkable mix of flavors and textures. Have created it twice presently - excellent for a light summer dinner. I substituted tahini for the sesame oil - turned out perfect.
